The Executive Director of the Martial Arts Teachers’ Association (MATA) John Graden is launching a new YouTube channel dedicated to preserving and presenting an authentic view of the storied history of martial arts.
The Martial Arts History Channel has an enormous collection of ultra-rare martial arts videos from the complete personal film, video, and image libraries of Joe Lewis, Mike Anderson, Earnest Lieb, Walt Bone, and Graden’s own archives.
According to Graden, The Martial Arts History Channel will not just be a collection of “how-to” videos. Graden says, “The martial arts have a long history full of legend and lore. On this channel, we will allow viewers to actually witness the martial arts masters from the past in action. This provides a never-before-seen opportunity for martial arts fans to see what is real and what is really just smoke and mirrors.”
